Dale J. Crane, age 84, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2021.
Born July 20, 1937, to Charlie and Cora Crane in Haleyville, Alabama, who have preceded him in death.
In 1956, he married Beatrice Kelley. They had six children, Allen Crane of Westville, Indiana, Angela Edwards of Portage, Indiana, Anita Crane of Hammond, Indiana, Dale Crane of Winchester, Virginia, Tara (Robert) McGee of Franklin, Indiana, and Shawn (Valerie) Crane of Franklin, Indiana; 15 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Dale is preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
July 1974, he married Patricia Mosley, one of the loves of his life, who is deceased.
Dale has had a special friend, June Evans, for 12 years. He has been retired from Royal Metal since 1996. He loved doing woodwork in his garage and attended Full Gospel Church for many years. Dale loved his family and grandchildren. He was loved by all that knew him and was always there for anyone that needed help. Dale loved his Facebook and all his Facebook friends!
Friends are invited to meet with the family on Sunday, Dec. 12, 2021, from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 3 p.m. at Geisen-Carlisle Funeral Home, 613 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN, 46360, with Pastor Dennis Pickens officiating. Burial will take place on Monday, Dec. 13, 2021, at Swan Lake Memorial Gardens.
