Daniel "Dan" Martin Hoeppner of Warsaw, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne at the age of 62. His passing was unexpected and due to complications caused from a fall. He is now safe and whole in the arms of his Lord and Savior in Heaven!
He was born on Nov. 1, 1961, in Michigan City, Indiana, to Nancy Agnes (Nichols) and Robert "Bob" Martin Hoeppner. Dan was a 1980 graduate of Lakeland Christian Academy and attended Grace College from 1980 to 1983.
At the young age of 21, Dan knew he wanted to spend the rest of his life with a lovely lady named Rhonda Kay Wilson. On June 25, 1983, they married and would have celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary this year. Dan and Rhonda were blessed with raising two children, and later shared the joy of becoming grandparents.
In 1978 he started working in the family business, Grace Manufacturing in Warsaw, which provided employment for many Grace College students. He operated the family business until his accidental passing. Dan loved being involved in his children's lives and was a great supporter of Lakeland Christian Academy and was a former board member. Dan was a true follower of Christ, and faithfully attended Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church with his family. He lived a simple and full life, loving his wife, children, grandchildren and mother. Dan was a kind man with a big heart, he leaves behind a legacy of love and faith, and will be dearly missed by all.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Rhonda Hoeppner; son, David Hoeppner; daughter, Angela King; and his two beloved grandchildren, Rebekah and Matthew, all of Warsaw, Indiana. Also surviving is his mother, Nancy Hoeppner of Winona Lake, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Hoeppner, in 2014.
Friends and family are invited to visit from 3 to 7 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2024, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana.
Dan's life will be celebrated with a service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at Winona Lake Grace Brethren Church, 1200 Kings Highway, Winona Lake, Indiana, and officiated by Pastor Bruce Barlow and assisted by Dan's nephew, Pastor Josh Wilson.
