Joseph McCormick Obituary

Joseph Albert McCormick, 77, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Friday, Dec. 20, 2024, peacefully at his home in Rolling Prairie.

Born Aug. 24, 1947, in La Porte, Indiana, to Loran Earl and Adeline (Cochran) McCormick.

Joseph was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Loran Jr., John Roger and Leonard Searl; and sisters, Evelyn Harness, Joan Erickson and Marilyn McCormick.

Joseph is survived by his sisters, Ruth Eleanor Faulstich, Vera Wroblewski, Linda Shortt and Nancy McCormick.

Joe graduated from Rolling Prairie High School in 1966. He worked for many years at Wirekraft and retired from SSD in South Bend, Indiana.

Joe Loved working in his vegetable garden, was an avid fisherman and knew the best places to hunt mushrooms. He was loved and will be missed by everyone who knew him

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana. Cremation will be taking place. Services will be held at a later time.
