Linda Browning Obituary

Linda Jolene Browning, loving mother and grandmother, 72, of Westville, Indiana, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 25, 2022.

Linda was born Sept. 15, 1950, in Hartford City, Indiana, to William And Virginia (Goff) Baldwin.

Linda had been employed with New York Blower and was a private in home CNA.

Linda is survived by a daughter, Kim Ramey of La Porte, Indiana; a son, Matthew (Christy) Browning of South Bend, Indiana; grandchildren, Kacey, Benjamin and Derrick; and sisters, Mary Keenen of La Porte, Indiana, and Susan Anderson of Mississippi; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded by her parents; and sister, DiAnn Backert.

Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, 2022, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. Private burial will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to Fairhaven Baptist Church, 86 East Oak Hill Road, Chesterton, Indiana, 46304.
