Mary Ann Andrek, 74, of Porter, Indiana, passed away Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at 9:57 a.m. in Rush University Hospital / Bowman Center, Chicago, Illinois.
Private family services will take place at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, Indiana.
She was born Jan. 13, 1948, in Chicago, Illinois, to the late Frank and Mary (Yussum) Andrek. Surviving are two sisters, Rose Marie Zervos of Hammond, Indiana, and Theresa Andrek of Chicago, Illinois; niece, Sylvia Zervos of Hammond, Indiana; and two nephews, Frank Zervos of Hammond, Indiana, and Francis (Jennifer) Andrek of Tinley Park, Illinois. She was preceded in death by two cousins, Theodore Manske and Edward Manske Jr.
Mary retired in 2006 as a unit coordinator at Franciscan Health Michigan City.
