Paul Gene Severs, age 68, of Montello, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at his home on July 27, 2022. He was born on Nov. 2, 1953, a son of Otto and Avice Severs in La Porte, Indiana.
After graduating high school in 1971, Paul joined the U.S. Air Force, working as an airplane mechanic. He served in the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged from the service in 1975. Paul's first son was born in 1983 and his second son in 1984.
Paul worked as a welder for many years before switching gears and becoming an over the road truck driver. He eventually retired in 2015 to Montello, Wisconsin, where he enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking, stamp/coin collecting and playing cribbage with his granddaughter.
Paul is survived by his two sons, Cory (Jaime) Severs of Belle Plain, Minnesota; Zack (Jennifer) Severs of Cantonment, Florida; three grandchildren, Jackson, Jazlyn and Zyler; his brother, Merle Severs of St. Cloud, Minnesota; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Avice Severs; his brother, Richard; sister, Peggy; and nephew, Scott.
