She is survived by her sister, Jane Hendrickson (Robert); her nephews, Kris Keusch (Andria) of Big Rapids, Michigan, Stephen Hendrickson (Sadie) of Irondequoit, New York, and Patrick Hendrickson (Namrata Mujumdar) of Washington, D.C.; and her niece, Cary Hendrickson of Rome, Italy; as well as five great-nieces and -nephews and many cousins and close friends. Her cats, Charlie, Pushkin, Pywacket, Pandora and Min Min, were also particularly important members of her family.
Ruth had a long professional career beginning with the University of Washington, going on to legal positions with: King County, the city of Seattle and Snohomish County. She was tenacious and took great pride in her work and helping her clients.
Ruth had a passion for seeing the world and was always looking for new and different travel adventures, often schlepping her left handed golf clubs along with her. She also enjoyed frequent reunions with her high school classmates. On Sunday afternoons in the fall she could often be seen donning her Seattle Seahawks jersey, demonstrating to the world what an avid Seahawks fan she was!
