Wilbur Plotner Obituary
Wilbur Daniel Plotner, 68, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2023, in Batesville, Arkansas.
He was born in La Porte, Indiana, on July 15, 1954, to Wilbur D. Plotner and Angeline (Dombrowski) Plotner.
Wilbur was a graduate of La Porte High School Class of 1973 and also Ivy Tech Community College in South Bend, Indiana, Class of 1976.
Before retirement, Wilbur worked for Mac Tools as a salesman, where he loved chatting and showing off his tools to his customers. He was a member and past governor of the La Porte Moose Lodge 492, a La Porte County 4-H member/leader, and a member of St Anthony's Catholic Church in Fish Lake, Indiana.
Wilbur is survived by his wife, Maggie Plotner; son, Daniel Plotner (Erica); stepson, Shane Valentin (Erin Earl); sister, Marie Vojtko; and step-grandchild, Sophia Valentin. He is preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, July 1, 2023, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the home of Chris Schable, 3202 S, CR-425W, La Porte, Indiana.
