I taught with your mother one year at Maple Grove School in Lansing in the late 1950's. She was teaching in the room right next door to me. I truly enjoyed her being in our building. I continued teaching there and at Harley Franks School, where I reired in 1986, and moved to Plant City, Fl. My Sincere Condolences go out to all of you, her children and grandchildren.

Your mother was a remarkably strong and courageous lady. I always admired how she was able to persevere throughout her life, keeping a healthy attitude and deep faith. It was probably the Irish in her. So sorry that I was unable to attend her memorial. It would have been great to see all of my cousins again.

I'm very sorry for your loss. I remember spending lots of time at your house all those years ago and always enjoyed seeing your mom. She and my aunt Lorraine went to "normal" school together and my aunt never failed to ask about her. My thoughts are with all of you.
