Ann Olds Obituary

Ann L. Olds

Charlotte

Ann L. Olds of Charlotte a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away July 13, 2015. Ann was born August 26, 1948 in Lansing, Michigan to the late Henry and Florence (McMillen) Knapp.

Ann is Ann again. Early onset Alzheimer's stole her from those who loved her. Harold, her husband of over 45 years, cared for her until her last three days, when she went to Eaton Community Palliative Care. Their children, Matt (Karmin), Elizabeth (Josh) Grant, Tony (Maggie) will, through stories and memories, bring to the 11 grandkids the grandma they never got to know.

Ann was a gifted artist, devoted Christian and active member of St. Lawrence Avenue United Methodist Church of Charlotte. She also leaves behind siblings, Jane Knapp, Gale (Rob) Harley, John (Gabby) Knapp and mother-in-law, Lavida Cundiff.

A celebration of Ann's life will be Friday, July 17, 2015, 12pm at South Church, Lansing with Pastor Ben Cuthbert, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Delta Township, Eaton Co., MI. Visitation will be Wednesday and Thursday from 6-8:00pm at the Holihan-Atkin Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Memorial contributions may be given to  Hospice Advantage or Alzheimer's Association. Share your memories and condolences online at www.holihanatkin.com

So very sorry for your loss. I remember Ann and family when we were youngsters riding our horses around Delta Mills. Such wonderful memories.
