Bruce Sharp Obituary
Delta Township
Bruce E. Sharp, 87, was born May 4, 1927 in Lansing, MI, passed away December 14, 2014 in Charlotte, MI. Bruce was a retired employee of Meijer Co. as a carpenter; former employee of Capital City Lumber and also a past dairy farmer for what once was Sharp Dairy Farm, where currently the Lansing Mall is located in Delta Township. He was a member of the Delta Mills United Methodist Church; former member of the Indian Guides through the YMCA and past Boy Scout Leader. Bruce was also the founder of Whirl-A-Ways Square Dance Club; organized and operated the Funtastic Square Dance Club; a square dance caller; an avid, talented woodworker and carpenter.
Survivors include his sons, Douglas (Vivian) Sharp of Grand Ledge and Steven (Laura) Sharp of Sunfield, daughter Carol (Richard) Geer of Okemos; 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Patricia Sharp of Grand Ledge, many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Donna in 2010 and brother, William.
A funeral service will be held Friday, December 19, 2014 - 11:00 a.m. at the Peters & Murray Funeral Home, Grand Ledge, with interment to follow at Delta Center Cemetery, Delta Twp., Eaton Co. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Delta Mills U.M.C. or Eaton Community Palliative Care in memory of Bruce Sharp. Online condolences may be shared at www.petersandmurrayfuneralhome.com.

Bruce's wife was with us at Tendercare West. Bruce took such good care of her. After she passed he volunteered with us. He was such a wonderful man, who will be missed by so many.

I worked with Bruce at Meijer warehouse. I've never meant a nicer,happer person in my life. Bruce you will be truly missed here on earth; but you will be welcomed with open arms and a great big smile , just like yours in heaven.
