Bruno Komm Obituary
Holt - Age 90, passed away June 16, 2021. He was born December 23, 1930, in Weissenfelde, Poland, to Heinrich and Wilhelmina Komm.
Bruno served two years in the U.S. Army and received the level of Sharpshooter M1. He was the owner/operator of Standard Shoe Repair until 1964, and retired from Oldsmobile following 30 years of dedicated service. Bruno was a lifelong member of Emanuel Lutheran Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Irmgard; 3 children, David S. (Sandra Bahr) Komm, Richard R. (Mary) Komm, and Danny L. (Jennifer) Komm; 3 grandchildren, Caitlin (Ben Yenerall) Komm, Jacob Komm, and Zachary Komm; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Reinhold and Edward Komm; and sisters, Wanda Wrede, Amanda Tews, and Alma Pellot.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, Lansing. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Lansing. His family will receive relatives and friends beginning 1 hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Memorial contributions may be made to the Emanuel Lutheran Church Radio Broadcast Fund. Arrangements are by the Estes-Leadley Holt/Delhi Chapel.
