Craig Stott

Grand Ledge - Craig Allen Stott age 64 of Grand Ledge passed away May 16, 2021 with his family by his side. Craig was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be missed by the many lives he touched. He graduated from Waverly High School Class of 1975 and proudly served his country in the Army of the United States in Berlin, Germany during Vietnam. Craig worked for GM in plant security for several years and also a Security Office for the State of Michigan Senate. Craig's position at the state evolved into IT Security after he received a Bachelor's Degree from Central Michigan University and two Master's Degrees, one in IT Security and the other in Project Management from Colorado Tech University. He enjoyed golfing but his true passion was bowling. He also enjoyed all kinds of sports and was a huge U of M fan. He is survived by his loving wife of 13 years, Lauri (Westen); children, Bridget (Jon) Cecil, David (Alicia) and Kelly Houle; step-daughters, Casey (Rob) LaFay and Ashley (Evan) Huver; grandchildren, Sean, Victoria, Christopher, Broden, Easton, Dylan, Brayden, Parker and Cameron; great granddaughters, Avery and Alaina along with sister, Michelle (Robert) McDonald. Craig was preceded in death by his dad, David. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 22, 2021, 2:00 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church, Grand Ledge by The Reverend Fr. James Eisele. Visitation will be Friday from 3-8:00 pm at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge. Memorial contributions in Craig's name may be given to The Children's Heart Foundation or the Wounded Warrior Project. Share your your memories and condolences online at www.holihanatkin.com

we are so very sorry, Craig will be missed by all his friends, about 2 weeks before he became ill he told Carl whom had a seizer and was unable to drive he would come and pick him up ( an hour drive one way) take him to bowl and bring him back home. Carl declined with grateful tears for such a wonderful offer. RIP you wonderful man. Carl and Evelyn White
