Delbert Atherton Obituary
Limestone
Delbert "Del" Atherton, Jr., age 96, of Williamston, MI and formerly of Limestone, died January 9, 2015 at the Highland Alzheimer's Care Facility in Jackson. He was born on December 16, 1918 in Curran, MI. During WWII, he served in the U.S. Army and after the War; he went to work for Oldsmobile for over 28 years. Del was a member of the AFL-CIO Union, UAW Local #552 in Lansing.
Del is survived by his children Dennis (Jean) Atherton of Williamston, MI, Carol (Dick) Becks of Cusick, WA, Mike (Vicky) Atherton of Bullhead City, AZ, and Mary Taylor of Inverness, FL.
Graveside services will be held at the Limestone Township Cemetery later this year. Del's obituary may be viewed at bowermanfuneralhome.net
