Gary Bain Obituary

Gary Raymond Bain Lansing, MI 'FISH ON!' Age 70, Gary went to catch the big one March 20, 2008. He was born January 15, 1938 in Howell, MI. He served in the US Army from 1957 to 1960. He is a retiree from the City of Lansing. Gary married his sweetheart Sharron on February 28, 1961. They were married for 47 years. Gary is survived by his wife Sharron; his daughter Shondra (Craig) Bain-Brown and son Shawn (Melissa) Bain. Gary was also 'Little Grandpa' to LaTeesha, Dakota, Whitney, Morgan, Nicholas, Jennie, his great-granddaughter, Maddyn, his brother, Edward Bain. Gary loved to fish, camp and work in the yard. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be missed greatly. Funeral Services will be Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Lansing Chapel, 520 E. Mt. Hope Ave with Pastor Roger Epps of Capital City Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Following the committal, a dinner will be held at Capitol City Baptist Church. The famiy will receive friends beginning at 12:00 noon on Tuesday. Memorials can be made to the family.Condolences can be made at www.palmerbush.com.
