We were living with family in 919C, cherry lane, just below the apartment where dr.sinha & family lived during 1963-67, and they returned to India around 1966. We left for India in May 1967. Later I learnt he returned to MSU. We settled in Bombay. In 2016 when I visited my son in SF, I learnt from another maths professor Ramanujan at AnnArbor, that Sinha was no more. So sad to know about the news. His children were very young then, used to visit us downstairs. So also Sinhas were good friends.

The photo takes us down memory lane of the wonderful times we had with Dr Sinha and family. Dr Sinha was also well known for his knowledge of the Hindu scriptures and was always willing to share his knowledge with many of us. We all have lost a teacher, friend and well wisher. Madam, Ponam, Govind we all share your loss. Om Shanti.

Sindu was a colleague whose research happened to be in my field. He was generous with his expertise and kindly helped me progress. I will miss his cheerful, always positive disposition.

Indu was a wonderful colleague and a very gracious man. I will always remember the warmth with which he greeted me and the power of his smile.
