MARK BARTELL

Dear Scott and Hersha family -

I am so glad that my childhood was full of such good friends. I am hard pressed to call your father Jim as he was always Mr. Hersha to me. What a great group of parents our group had. I wonder if we all realize what a great environment we had to grow up in. You parents always made me feel welcome in your home and my memories of your Dad bring a smile to my face.

Rick Glowe was kind enough to sent me notice of Jim's passing. While I am saddened by Jim's passing I am also heartened by having been part of such a positive group of friends and family as we grew up in Jonesville.

I encourage you to draw upon those positive memories and when you feel his absence, smile for all he brought to our lives.

Sincerely;

Mark and Renee Bartell
