James Parker Obituary
Howell - James T. Parker, a resident of Howell, MI, died on March 2, 2021. He was 77 years old.
Jim was a 1961 graduate of Resurrection High School and continued on to Lansing Business University. After graduation he obtained his CPA and worked for Maner Costerisan & Ellis P.C., Hough Brothers and Mooney Oil. Jim retired in 1997 to enjoy MSU football and basketball, but especially loved trips with his grandchildren. He enjoyed family and friends and was a happy upbeat person who was well loved.
Jim is survived by his loving wife Anne; son, Stephen (Leanne) Parker; grandchildren, William (Kasea Leal-Smith) Strzalkowski, Ashley Parker, Shelby Parker and Zachary Parker; great-grandchildren, Annalisia and William Jr.; brothers, John (Kathy) Parker, William (Karen) Parker and sister, Patrice (Dean) Forrester as well as many close friends and extended family members.
James is preceded in death by his parents, George and Rosalia (nee Ahlers) Parker; brother, George Thomas Parker and sister Rose (Beaudoin) Reichenbach.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to The Lansing Old News Boys Association, PO Box 14058, Lansing, MI 48901.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services will take place privately.

Anne & Family, Sorry to hear of Jims passing--quite shocked. I periodically check on GM friends and looking for you, my search algorithm led me to him. We have 5 CPA's in the family and Emily Spitzley, our grandaughter will be the 6th. She is in her 5th year on a basketball scholarship playing for the Grand Valley Lakers. Her sister Hannah is a junior at Western also playing basketball. I'll put my e-mail on here, maybe we can put together a spreadsheet of those who have left us. Again, my sympathy and hope all is well with you.

Most of our time we spend out of state and never had the opportunity to meet Mr. Parker, our neighbor just around the corner. Accept our deepest sympathies for your beloved Jim. May your cherished memories always bring joy and comfort to your hearts. May your family be blessed every time someone thinks of Jim.
