While serving on the Supervisory and Loan Committees at the Lansing Community Credit Union; I knew Jerry, as the President of the Board of Directors, he was a super guy. Fair, Loyal and Very Committed to doing a GREAT JOB. This country needs more individuals like Jerry. My wife and I know he will be missed by many. Our prayers go out to his family and friends.

My grandmother had the cottage right next door to Jerry and his wife. I can remember playing outside and Jerry being the one to initiate a water fight! His hose always seemed to reach further then ours did. My Grandma would then yell at him for "getting us kids all riled up" and we would all just laugh. He was a wonderful neighbor. My condolences to the family.

Jerry Mills was the best gosh darn sneaky golfer of all time. He would take his unassuming self and talk up all the opponents while quietly winning every hole and picking everyone's pocket. St. Peter sure better watch out because Jerry is going to take those Pearly Gates right away from him.

I also crossed paths with Jerry at LPD 1966/1972 and again years later at BWL. I hope that one day our paths would cross again. God bless you and your wonderful family.

I had the honor of working with Jerry in HR at the LBWL. He was a mentor and taught me so much; not only about our line of work but about life. He did an excellent job no matter what the task was. He was such a people person ~ he talked often of his family and proudly displayed pictures of his grandchildren. He left such a legacy. My condolences to all, cherish the memories. He was one of a kind. Jerry was a man of TOTAL integrity.

My deepest sympathy to Gerry's loved ones on their loss. I knew him to be deeply devoted to the greater Lansing Community through his police work, and when I was the GOP County and District Chairman through his devoted service seeking to help us with his time in that arena. Gerry was a tireless advocate for smaller and better government. I'm sure God's smiling on him now. Again, God Bless, him and his loved ones. He'll be missed.
