Mrs.Timmerman was nurturing incarnate. She shepharded our little girls through pre-school...These "little girls' are now adult women..but always appreciated and loved seeing Mrs.Timmerman when they were in town. You were always such a loving presence...We appreciated you and loved you, Mrs.Timmerman.

We only met Joan a handful of times, but she touched our family the first time, that we met her. She not only shared Gods love with people, but it was evident in our conversations, that she lived obediently in her life. Our prayers and condolences to the family. I know she would want us rejoicing that she got to be with her Lord and Savior.

Al and Family - Joanie was such a love. From the first moment I met her I felt her love, and the love of God through her. She is the only woman I've ever known who truly "prayed without ceasing." She will be missed, but truly, I know she is with the Lord and hugging Aimee. Imagine that reunion! I know she loved us all, but she definitely loved the Lord more.

Joan was a real comfort to so many of us through out her life. We will miss her but know that she is with the Lord. She loved her family and friends so much. She was so delighted when her grandchildren were born and she could be with them. My sympathy goes to Al and his son and daughter in law and grandchildren at this sad time. Joan Foy Bement

Allan and family,

Just want you to know how much we thought of Joan. My husband and I and our boys remember her fondly from Kids Korner. When we'd see her even years later, she would have memories of our boys. She was a great lady and is now a new angel in heaven. Our prayers are with all of you.

Al, Chris, and family:

You are in my thoughts as you grieve Joan's passing. Getting to know Joan made me a better educator and a better human being, and I was lucky to get the chance to work with her in Williamston. She was a really special person, and touched so many lives with her gentle, loving spirit.

Mr. Timmerman and family,

There are not enough words to describe the kind of woman she was. One that immediately comes to mind is Godly. She was a Godly human being. EVERY time I saw her I felt the presence of the Lord. It was if she had a cloud of glory around her. She was one individual I knew I could come to if I ever needed her. It was also as if she never grew up. Every time she was around you Al, she just appeared to be the same person she seemed to be when she fell in love with you. She just looked so in love. She had a beautiful spirit and was always that second mom when I was younger. I love you Mrs. Timmerman, sing with the angels....
