Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathies to the Duda family. The hardest part of losing someone isn't having to say goodbye to them, it's learning to live without them and filling a void of emptiness that's left inside our hearts. John was a dear friend and I shall miss him greatly. May God wrap you in His arms and give you peace. I knew John when I worked at Lansing Community College in the Performing and Creative Arts Dance Department and I so loved watching him dance. When I close my eyes, I see him dancing in heaven. We worked at MSU in the same College and I greatly miss going to lunch and riding up the elevator together every morning. His smile, laugh and hugs made the day brighter. Rest in peace my friend. Irene, I want nothing more than to be there with you , but I live in MN and can't make it back. I had the honor and privilege to dance with John. I have carried him in my heart since our paths crossed at LCC and will continue to do so. My life is better for knowing John.

I love you, John. Dance with the angels until I get there.

Irene, how I wish I could be there to hug you and to attend John's funeral mass. I am in Georgia. John was smart, kind, and trustworthy. I honor his life, and I will miss him so much.

John was the first person I met when I came to MSU in 1997. He was friendly and had a knack for putting people at ease. He got along well with the faculty and staff members in the Sociology Department, and was never too busy to lend an ear when people were struggling with some difficulty. John performed his duties in a selfless manner and contributed to a relaxed atmosphere of cordiality in the department. I am sorry to hear of his passing.
