Larry Fisk Obituary
Grand Ledge - Larry Cecil Fisk, age 77, of Lansing, Michigan passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021. He was born August 19, 1943, in Mason. He graduated from Sexton High School and entered the United States Navy, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis. Larry worked as a supervisor for General Motors, retiring after 39 years of service. He also worked as an usher at Spartan Stadium for 46 years.
Surviving are his wife, Margaret Fisk and daughter, Natalie Fisk. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Nicole Marie Fisk. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Capital Area Humane Society or American Cancer Society. Expressions of sympathy may be made at www.tiffanyfuneralhome.com

Hello Margaret, my father, Art Van Dyke read of Larry’s passing in the Sunday Lansing State Journal. He commented that we were once neighbors in the Meese Dr neighborhood back in the 1970s. I shared the link to his obituary with other family members; a couple of memories popped up, but one I thought you would appreciate.
We were the house on Meese Dr filled with five very unruly kids a couple of houses down from yours. One afternoon, my little brother, who was probably 4 or 5 at the time, managed to get his shirt collar hung up on a hook on the swing set in our back yard and found himself hanging, unable to pull himself up to free himself.
None of us in the house noticed our brother's predicament until we saw Larry hustling toward our house, bursting through the gate to the backyard, rushing toward my brother at the back of lift him off the hook.
Well, my brother made it through the ordeal, but I wonder what a different outcome it could have been if Larry had not been there to save him.
From the sounds of the other comments here and our story, he did much good in his life. May he rest in peace.
