Lorna Newton Obituary

Lorna Shirley Newton Lansing Age 82, born December 12, 1926, and began her new journey November 28, 2009. Lorna leaves behind her husband, Thomas; daughter, Carol Ann Abood Palm; two special sons-in-law, Randy Abood and Mike Palm; two grandsons, Ryan Abood and Barbara, and Corey Abood and wife, Tina; two great-granddaughters, Angelina and Alayna Abood; honorary granddaughter, Morgan; as well as many dear friends. A celebration of Lorna's life will be held at the 40 et 8 Club, 2949 S. Waverly Rd., Lansing, at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 5, 2009. In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to Father John's Children's Clothing Fund. Arrangements by Estes-Leadley Greater Lansing Chapel.

Aunt Lorna's legacy was her wonderful ability to share joy. She had an infectious laugh and was always telling
better jokes that I did! That legacy lives on in our fond memories of her.

Carol we were so sorry to hear about your mother's passing, You were there for me when my mom died 18 years ago but I am very sorry that I cannot be with you on Saturday. You and your Dad are definitely in our prayers and I hope we can spend some time together later this month. Love to you and your family members.
