My husband, Karam, and I purchased my parents' home next to Marcia and Paul in 2005. Although we had been introduced years earlier, our friendship immediately began when Marcia welcomed us to Shady Hill Lane with a plateful of goodies. She has been the absolute best neighbor and we will miss her dearly. Rest in Heavenly Peace dear friend.

I met Mrs. Doherr on April 25 at Fairview. We both grew up in Fowlerville. She knew my great grandparents and other family members. I was able to celebrate the sacrament of the sick with her and visit her again on June16. I am so glad I was able to meet her, she had a remarkable memory. My prayers for her and her family. We will remember her at the next Mass at Fairview, August 18.

So sorry to hear about your Mom's passing. My last memory of her was when my Mom was in her final days and she brought over a delicious pie. May your wonderful memories sustain you.
