Mary Sliger Obituary
Lansing - Mary Mina Sliger, 63, died December 7, 2020 in Lansing Michigan.
Mary was born February 22, 1957 in Muskegon Michigan to Richard and Joan (Mecredy) Sliger.
Mary lived most of her life in Lansing and received an Associates Degree from Lansing Community College.
Mary was an active member of Shephard of the Hills Evangelical Luthern Church. She was also an active member of Brain Injury Association of Michigan. She worked at Board of Water and Light as a contractor through Peckham Industries.
Mary loved her many cats through the years, and was never without one! She had a big heart and many caring friends.
She is survived by her siblings Kay Wilson, Margie Williams and Mike Sliger, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Jodi, brother-in-law Davis, and her fiance Barney Morales.
Because Mary so loved her cats, donations may be made to the Humane Society, or to the Brain Injury Association.
A Memorial Service will take place at a later date.

Mary was a determined self-advocate, and a truly dedicated advocate for others. She will be missed by her friends at the Brain Injury Association of Michigan -all of whom were deeply saddened to hear of her passing.

Mary was a best friend growing up as a child, I was able to hook up with her a few years ago and we
had some good times together!! She introduced me to her church, which I really appreciated! I hadn't talked to her recently before her death She's going to be missed ,that's for sure !! She was a kind and beautiful person!! I love her so much, Betty Jo ziegenfuss

Mary was a very kind woman who was a huge advocate for the brain injured community. She had a lot of good loyal friends at the Brain Injury Association of Michigan. Her contagious smile lit up the room. You will be missed Mary! Rest in Peace
