Ramey Dewey Obituary

Ramey Joseph Dewey East Lansing Ramey Joseph Dewey, age 49, formerly of Charlotte, MI, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Ramey was born Oct. 15, 1961 in Charlotte, the son of John A. and Verdetta (Mahon) Dewey and grew up in Charlotte. He had been a resident of East Lansing for 16 years. Surviving are: his wife, Dawn Marie; Sons, Rhett and Evan Dewey; step sons, Christopher and Jonathon Trumley; his parents, John and Verdetta Dewey; Siblings, Paula (Michael) Chadderdon, Scott (Charmayne) Dewey and Janelle (Michael) Thomas; Mother-in-law, Nancy Vaughan; brother-in-law, Sam Espinosa; nieces and nephews, Alexandria, Tessa & Tyler Dewey, Phillip, Holly and Matthew Thomas and Hanna and Jeremiah Chadderdon and great nephew, Tyler Michael Chadderdon. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2011 at the Burkhead-Green Funeral Home in Charlotte with Rev. Philip Hobson officiating. Interment will be in the Needmore Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2011 at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may go to the family.
