Ray Wolfe Obituary

Pastor Ray M. Wolfe Sr., 91, went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2015. He was born February 14, 1924 in Gary, West Virginia, son of Glen and Daisy (Callahan) Wolfe. Ray was retired from the United States Air Force after almost 21 years of service. He was a Tech Sgt., veteran of WWII and a retired pastor.
Ray is survived by his wife, Melda (Rose), three children: Ray (Kathy) Wolfe Jr. of Lansing, April (Cal) Overbeek of South Carolina, Adriann Wolfe of San Antonio, TX; two stepsons, Karl and Kirk Grayson of Clarenton, Jamaica; two grandchildren Ray (Rebecca) Wolfe III and Amy (Chris) Broadie; three great-granddaughters, Vivian, Charisse and McKinley. He was predeceased by his first wife Marie, son Randal; two sisters Thelma Johnson and Dorothy Wolfe, six brothers: Charles, Robert, John, James, Curtis and Kermit.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Kingdom Life Church, 4303 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd, Lansing, MI 48910, with Pastor Coye Bouyer officiating. The family will begin to receive family and friends at the church from 10:30 a.m. until service time. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to Kingdom Life Church in memory of Pastor Ray Wolfe Sr. Online condolences may be shared at www.petersandmurrayfuneralhome.com.

Pastor Ray was a Great pastor, friend , man. He spoke from the heart. I could sit and listen to him for hours! Never looked at the time when he preached. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.Love you all
