I haven't talked to Steve since high school, but the words expressed here are the same ones I felt then. He was very humble; almost to a fault and he was very kind. I always wished that he would look my way more often, but he was always so shy and reserved. His light now shines above.

I worked with Steve for about 5 years at DEQ. We shared a passion for music and Steve taught me a lot about the local music scene. He worked hard, played hard, and was all around a good soul. He made our days a little brighter. Rock on, Steve.

Steve was a treasured colleague of mine for the past 19 years. He was always willing to go the extra mile to help others and to keep things light and fun. He was a very talented engineer and musician, but always very humble. He will indeed be missed. Mary Lee Hultin (Lansing, MI)
