Wanda Dailey Obituary

Wanda L. (Watson) Dailey Olivet Wanda L. (Watson) Dailey, age 74 of Olivet, MI, died Sunday, August 21, 2011 at the Good Samaritan Hospice Residence, Battle Creek. Wanda was born February 1, 1937 in Liberty City, Kentucky, a daughter of Clarence E. and Lillie (Stone) Watson, and was a lifelong Olivet area resident. She was a Graduate of Olivet High School, was a member of the Lee Center Church, member of the Marshall Moose Lodge and had been an active member of the Olivet Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a retired employee of Olivet College with 30 years of service. Surviving are: 2 daughters, Ann (Donald) Wireman of Olivet and Marcia Marie (Jack) Lance of Melvindale, MI; 2 sons, David Zar (Karen) Dailey of Everett, WA and Dale Michael (Leslie) Dailey of Olivet; 6 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, Larry Dailey; 6 sisters, Barbara Cardinal, Thelma Pauley, Anna Collins, Ella Lee, Linda Crouch and Marion Watson; and 1 brother, Victor Watson. Per Wanda's request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the Bosworth Cemetery on Stine Road, Olivet, MI with Pastor Winford Collins officiating. Memorial contributions may go to the Lifespan Good Samaritan Hospice Residence or the Lee Center Church. Arrangements by Burkhead-Green Funeral Home, Charlotte. www.burkhead-greenfuneralhome.com
