Billy Eugene Crittenden LUBBOCK-Billy Eugene Crittenden, 79, of Lubbock went to be with The Lord peacefully on Nov. 5, 2014. He was born on Nov. 16, 1934, in Littlefield, Texas. He served in the United States Navy and fought during the Korean War. He married Diana Cotham in 1956 and they lived in Levelland, where he was a business owner and operator before moving to Lubbock, where they had resided since 1985. He was a former member of Lubbock Optimists. Billy is survived by his wife, Diana; and three children: Butch Crittenden and his wife, Peggy, of Lubbock; Donya Demel and her husband, Kevin of Odessa; and Lyda Grawn and her companion, Jeff of Scottsdale, AZ. He is also survived by his brother, Wayne Crittenden of Lubbock; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Leona Crittenden of Anton, Texas; and a sister, Barbara Prentice of Spade, Texas. Memorial tributes may be made to the Alzheimer's Association-West Texas Chapter or to Accalade Hospice of Lubbock. A celebration of his life will be held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 15, 2014, at Redbud Baptist Church on Slide in Lubbock.
