Clayton Cage Obituary

Clayton Horace Cage LUBBOCK-Clayton Horace Cage, beloved family man and hardworking husband, father and son, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life of 57 years on Friday, Sept. 25, 2015, at 10 a.m. at Lake Ridge Chapel and Memorial Designers with a reception following. A tribute of Clayton's life may be found at ww.memorialdesigners.net, where you may leave memories and expressions of sympathy for his family. A lifelong resident of Lubbock, Clayton was born on July 25, 1958, the only child of Donald and Odessa (Poore) Cage. He married Connie Rodgers on May 22, 1986. Clayton worked for Kimbell Gin Machinery and was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church. He was a motor cycle enthusiast and was always ready for a game of darts. Clayton never met a stranger and enjoyed time visiting with neighbors and working in his yard. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Connie of Lubbock; a son, Adam Dominguez of Sachse; his mother, Odessa Cage; and an aunt, Ella Mae Gentry both of Lubbock and an uncle, David Roy Cage of Azle. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Cage.

On behalf of My Family to yours i would like to express our condolences over the loss of such a good man I had the honor of working with Clay and we would sometimes talk about what was most important in life and he would tell me first was his faith in God. Next was his family , then his work, Clay was always thinking of others before himself our thoughts and prayers are with his family
