Cody Fair Obituary

Lubbock- 3-27-94 - 4-14-18

Cody was called home to be with the Lord unexpectedly on Saturday April 14th 2018. He was only 24 years old. Cody is survived by his mother, Shannon Summers of Albuquerque, NM; father, Richard Fair of Lubbock TX; sister Jamie Valero and husband Cecilio Valero of Roswell, NM; his beautiful daughter, Marcella Fair and mother to his child, Bridgett Martinez both of Lubbock TX and his longtime girlfriend, Nikki Saulters of Lubbock TX. He is also survived by his aunt, Rachelle Fair of Lubbock Texas, uncle, Randy Fair and wife, Felicia of Nebraska and cousins: Daman Jr, Erin, Darien, Daman III, Lily, and Lissette. He is preceded in death by his grandma, Linnie Barrett and grandpa, Bobby Fair of Lubbock Texas. Cody was born in Lubbock, Texas on March 27th 1994 and spent most of his life there. Growing up he spent a lot of time involved in sports from karate, football, soccer, and his favorite sport basketball. He met his first love, Bridgett going to school and at 18 years old they had a beautiful baby girl together. There isn't anything in this world he wouldn't have done for her. Cody met Nikki when he was 20 years old. Cody and Nikki were together for nearly 4 years until his death. When Cody was 22yrs old he decided to move to Albuquerque with Nikki to start a new life. Cody got a job right away working with his dad at Sign Art. There he learned the tricks and trades to hanging signs for businesses all over New Mexico. He had a passion and a drive to learning new things. After his separation from Sign Art he started writing out a to-do list. On it he had plans to get his GED, go to trade school, and start a planner, but on April 14th 2018, God had other plans so he brought Cody home. Cody was loved by so many people. Even though he wasn't a people person, Cody had this thing about him that made everybody love and respect him. Cody would give the shirt off his back or his last dollar to help someone in need. He will be deeply missed. Fly high and rest easy Cody Lynn, WE LOVE YOU!
