Gabriel Lee "Bobo" Portillo

Gabriel Portillo LUBBOCK-Gabriel Lee Bobo Portillo, 21, of Lubbock, Texas, passed away on Jan. 20, 2016. Gabriel was born on April 28, 1994, in Lubbock, to the parentage of Lee Portillo and Reyes Portillo. He was raised in Slaton, Texas. He later relocated to Woodrow, Texas. He loved playing baseball and football and was a graduate of Lubbock Cooper High School, class of 2013. He had a loving heart and kind personality. He enjoyed spending time with his family and close friends. All who knew him will truly miss him. Gabriel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Henry Portillo and Rosa Flores; one aunt; and one uncle. He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents, Lee and Reyes Portillo; sisters, Jasmine, Valorie and Gianna Portillo; grandparents, Cruz Govea, Felacitas Portillo, Rodrigo Espinoza, Cleofas Anaya; and a host of other relatives and friends. Celebration of life services will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016, at Ministerious Nueva Vida, under the direction of Griffin Mortuary.
