Gary Henley Obituary
Gary died Tuesday, December 15, 2020, in Lubbock, TX.
He was born May 19, 1958 in Lubbock. He graduated Abernathy High School in 1976 and moved to Lubbock in 1989. He began working at Hamilton Construction as a teenager and worked his way into becoming co-owner. He married Terri (Rives) Lipps, September 30, 1995 in Lubbock. Gary was an avid fisherman and sports fan and was meticulous about his yard. "His primary enjoyment in life was his grandchildren.... except for his trips to Las Vegas", the family said laughing. He was proudest of the title "Pappy" given to him by his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Terri Henley of Lubbock, Children, Matt Henley and wife Lesli of Hale Center, Carrie Cronkhite and husband Buddy, David Lipps and wife Kiersten and Lauren Lipps all of Lubbock, 5 grandchildren, Levi, Myles, Dade, Cora and Elizabeth and 5 siblings, Peggy Allen, Judy Palmer, Chris Blair, Dan Henley and Cal Wayne Henley.
The family suggests memorials be sent to Texas Boys Ranch, P. O. Box 5665, Lubbock, TX 79408.

James and I will miss our friend. He was a great man and will be forever missed. We enjoyed time spent with Gary and Terri in Vegas.
