Albert Allred Obituary

ALBERT ALLRED Albert Lynn Allred, 79, of Las Vegas, passed away May 19, 2011. He was born Jan. 14, 1932, in Fremont, Utah, to Harvey Ellison Allred and Maggie Maxfield. He has resided in Nevada for 51 years. He was a retired heavy duty mechanic and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lavern John; brother, Van Morrell; mother and father. He is survived by his wife, of 57 years, Joy Allred; son, Harvey Allred (Debbie) of Laramie, Wyo.; daughters, Kathy McLaughlin (Dennis-Deceased), and Diane Burkett (Richard); sister, Evan Kae Smith (Jack-"Champ"); seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Viewing will be 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Friday, May 27, with service following at 1 p.m., both at L.D.S. Church, 3400 W. Charleston. Graveside services and interment will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 28, in Fremont Utah. Memorials for Albert Lynn Allred may be made at any Wells Fargo Bank.

Joy and family, I wanted to convey my deepest sympathy to all of you. I worked with you at Circus-Circus Hotel for years and counted you as my friend. I lost my husband last year, also. You will be in my thoughts and prayers.
