Lovey, Big Ben, and the entire Scully Family,

When growing up in Vegas, 45 plus years ago, if you needed "THE BONE DOCTOR", you went to Dr. Scully. Our prayers go out to the entire Scully family. My mom, Joni Wagner Teich, always talked about Lovey Scully. I think you went to school together in Louisville. Presentation Academy? St. C? St. X? I'm not sure. Hope all is well, he was the best.

What in heaven's name would we had done had you not introduced our family to the shriners for our son Stephen 20 years ago.
You lit his path and gave him a life worth living. And to us you gave us comfort and joy. Last night I fell and the first thing I thought wsa i better call Doc. I am so sad you are not there to answer! I love you dear friend.

Lovey & family, so many fond memories of Dr. Scully both as a friend and Physician i was honored to work with. We spent many hours together in surgery at Sunrise. I also worked in the office as an x-ray tech. My husband Harold and the kids were friends and patients of the Big Guy. My prayers to you all.

I was only a little girl {age 6} when Dr. Scully made an everlasting impression in my life and my families... He saved my big brother's life! {age 7} Dr. Scully spent hours in surgery putting my brother back together. We have fondly remembered the Big Man through the years... I'm now 45, my brother is 46, healthy, athletic, a wonderful husband and a father of 3. We have never forgot Dr. Scully...He was a Gift from God!!!

Philippians 1:20-23

eagerly expect and hope that I will in no way be ashamed, but will have sufficient courage so that now as always Christ will be exalted in my body, whether by life or by death. For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. If I am to go on living in the body, this will mean fruitful labor for me. Yet what shall I choose? I do not know! I am torn between the two: I desire to depart and be with Christ, which is better by far; Paul the Apostle

Dear Lovey and family,

Dr. Scully was certainly a one of a kind Doctor! He put my wrist back together for me, in between seeing patients at the hospital, for which I am eternally grateful, since I'm right handed!! He performed numerous knee surgeries on my sister (Linda Pettingill Anderton), he's the reason she is still walking today....how can you ever say thank you enough? He will surely be missed.
Our thought & prayers are with you during this difficult time.

Dear Uncle Pierre -

You will be missed. I have such fond memories visiting with y'all in Vegas.

My Uncle Pierre was a big man in statue - but he was a teddy bear of a man. Aunt Lovey, Mary, Brian and Ben (and kids), my heart is breaking for you today....but I know that Uncle Pierre would rather that we laugh about the fun times and shared memories we have. So, we will cherish them and remember him.

Lovey,
We so sorry for your loss. My wife Judy is from New Orleans and knew Doc Scully when she helped Gene Eisenman open his practice in the early 1980's. She has wonderful memories of him from that time. I recently met the Doc when y'all started coming in to the Triple Play where I am the chef. I always enjoyed chatting with him and hearing his stories. He will be missed by all of us here at the bar.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time.

Lovey,

Pierre was the most wonderful man. I will always remember how he had a joke or a funny story, as only he could tell it. He was never without a smile that could make the cloudiest day sunny again. I know he is meeting with St. Peter right now saying, "Have you heard this one...."

There can be no greater tribute than to call someone friend, and I am privileged to call both of you not only friend, but neighbor. Las Vegas is a better place because of Pierre.

You are in my prayers and my heart.

Dr. and Lovey:
To say you were like family is an understatement. We will miss you terribly as we recall fondly all your help and friendship, your daily calls to my father and your expertise in "putting me back together" after yet one more adventure. You will be ever remembered and we know that you are now helping the angels with broken wings.

Dear Mrs. Scully and family:
Our prayers are with you and your family. Dr. Scully was always a "favorite" of mine. As a child, although I was greatly impressed by his stature, he swept me away by his genuine kindness and concern for me. He always commented that I had big eyes and a sweet smile. He will be remembered by all who were blessed to know him. What a wonderful man!
With love and sympathy-

Dearest Papa,

I know you'll be reading these wonderful entries from Heaven. Everyone loved you, everything you were, and everything you'll always be. Althought you weren't my biological grandparent, you were the only Papa I ever had and you meant the world to me. The fondest memories Kendahl and I share were at your house, with you and Nanny, and they will forever hold a special place in my heart. I will always remember your many stories and as I share them with my little one, I hope it will give her a glimpse of what I knew to be the greatest man. I will remember you always and even as I grow older, you'll forever remain my one and only Papa.
