1928 - 2021

ARTHUR S. FINK Arthur S. Fink 93, a Las Vegas resident for 54 years, passed away May 5th, 2021. Art was born in Los Angeles March 16th, 1928. He was married August 26th, 1950 to Edith Levy and for 71 years. Art is survived by his beautiful wife Edie, children Donald M. Fink (spouse Cary Marie Olah), Lavi Daniel and Cathy Kama (spouse Richard Kama). His grandchildren Joshua Fink, and recently predeceased Matthew Fink, Kelan Daniel (spouse Carly Daniel) Dylan Kama, Natsumi Shakhman (spouse Igor Shakhman). As a native of Los Angeles Arthur attended The University of California at Los Angeles, (UCLA). He also served in the US Navy 1944-1947 during WW2 and was stationed in Guam. He was honorably discharged from the Navy in 1947. In 1948, Art started his own property and casualty agency in the San Fernando Valley and for the next 16 years was very successful building his agency, but really wanted to have more of a long-term favorable impact to the families he served and in 1964 decided to enter the life insurance business. In 1964, Art signed his Mass Mutual agent contract and went on to obtain his Charted Life Underwriter (CLU) degree in 1969. In 1967, Art moved the family to Las Vegas where he opened a Mass Mutual detached office and was named manager in 1970. This office was built and expanded becoming the new Mass Mutual Nevada Agency. Art retired from Mass Mutual management in 1987 and with his son Donald M. Fink and formed a new unique sales agency "Fink and Associates." Art and Don were both Life and Qualifying, Honor-roll members of the Million Dollar round table the premier financial organization internationally. Art maintained his Mass Mutual contract actively until he died at 93. In 1985 Art and his wife Edie both became licensed pilots and purchased a single engine Cessna 182. They loved to fly. Angel Plane a Las Vegas based but national organization. The organization provides free transportation for people needing organ donor transplants to nearby cities. Art and Edie donated their time, plane and expertise as pilots for Angel Plane transporting patients on last minute notice. Art had a dry sense of humor and a great wit he loved his family and little dogs. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the local Alzheimer's Association.
