Hello. My name is Joshua. In 2001, Mr. Butler was my 8th grade history teacher. He made such a big difference in my life. From teaching us class lessons, to teaching us life lessons. After the 9/11 attacks, he had such an impactful speech with all his students. He is one of the biggest reasons I became a Marine. I'm so sorry for your lost, and that I didn't get to see him before he passed. I hope the best for you and the rest of his family.

Our family is so sorry for your loss. Dave was a part of our family and our family's memories growing up- he was nothing less than a brother to Rob and me. When I think about my childhood and growing up into young men with Dave, Kirby, and Jim- I remember the love of family- I remember being there for each other- I remember our friendships and ALL the times laughing; we were happy. You will always be a part of us Dave. I hope that your family finds peace, remembers kind thoughts and your laughter, and Dave smiling back at you with that big grin. We will miss you.

My old friend I'll miss our debating, love for sports, concerts and playing football in HS. I still think about that visit I made to see you and Alicia while you guys attended college. What a memorable time that was. You were like a brother and I will always cherish the good times we all shared. God bless.
