David Painter

David L. Painter, 46, formerly of Sidney, Mont., passed away Wednesday, May 5, 2004, at his home in Las Vegas following a lengthy battle with heart disease. He is survived by his daughter, Davi Jo Painter of Las Vegas, who was everything to him and he cherished dearly. He is also survived by his brothers, Lewis (Bette) Painter of Troutdale, Ore., Gary (Cherry) Painter of Keyes, Okla., Ryan Painter of Las Vegas; sisters, Sharon (Larry) Mindt, Carla (Terry) Houchen, Melody (Doug) Copeland, Ronda (Marvin) Welnel, all of Sidney, Mont., Patty (Jim) Lakey of Tioga, N.D.. Marva (Rick) Herman, Lisa (Lance) Kalfell, all of Terry, Mont.; and his best friend, Jeff Sifers of Las Vegas. He is also survived by 93 nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Homer and Jean Painter; a brother, Lane Painter; an aunt, Gail Pierson Jensen; cousins, Vance and Marcia Pierson; a nephew, Terry Jean Houchen; and a niece, Sophia Racquel Girard. Funeral services for David were previously held. Interment will be in the Richland Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Fulkerson Funeral Home of Sidney.
