ERIC HENRICKSEN Obituary

ERIC HENRICKSEN Eric William Henricksen passed away April 22, 2019. He was born March 6, 1950, in Washington, D.C., to John Andrew Henricksen and Jean Dorothy Goodrick. The family moved to Las Vegas in 1957. They lived on Brush St. behind the Westhill Bowling Alley. Back then there was lots of desert so Eric could take his gun and go shooting. Eric was a 1968 graduate of Clark High. He was a proud U.S. Marine, loving husband, and hardheaded brother. Eric built buildings. Started as a sheet-rocker and ended his career as a superintendent. He was a hard worker and had a brilliant mind. He loved baseball, especially the New York Yankees. Reading, skiing, fishing, and camping were some of Eric's other passions. He was a cornerstone at the Tap House and enjoyed the company of his numerous friends. Preceded in death by parents; and sister, Karen Gibson. Survived by his wife, of 26 years, Cathy; brother, John Henricksen; brother-in-law, Herb Schwaab; sister-in-law, Debbie Henricksen; nephews, Andy (Lori) Henricksen and Justin (Tracy) Henricksen; nieces, Hilary Batson, Chanda Gibson, Danielle Henricksen and Shawntelle Henricksen; and many more great-nieces and nephews. There will be a Celebration of his beautiful life at 1 pm Sat., May 25, at the Tap House, 5589 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89146.
