1990

December 27, 2023

Jim Albrecht was a true gentleman. He hired me as an inexperienced poker dealer at Binion's Horseshoe in downtown Vegas in 1990. I was eager to learn and the team took me under their wing to help me become a quality and experienced poker room employee. When casino gaming was legalized in Mississippi in 1992 thanks to Jim, I got the job as the swing shift boss at The Isle of Capri Casino in Biloxi, MS. Sorry I'm rambling, but without Jim Albrecht I never would have gotten that job that turned into a thirty year career in the South, where I'm from. Jim and Susan were always good to me and I liked and respected them. May God bless and touch them.
