Jerry Coles Obituary

JERRY COLES Jerry M. Coles, born Feb. 25, 1962, passed away unexpectedly March 19, 2011. Jerry leaves behind the love of his life, Alma; his son, Jerry; his daughters, Kristy and Paola; his parents, Joe and Alice Coles; his sisters, Good and Joanne; brother, Joe; and many treasured friends. Jerry was born in the Bronx, N.Y., and moved to Las Vegas with his family in 1973. He graduated from Chaparral in 1980, and then attended UNR. Jerry made some great friends in high school that remain friends until today. Everyone that knew Jerry enjoyed his quick wit and dry sense of humor. He was extremely passionate about baseball, especially the Yankees and his seven dogs, all of which he rescued. For the last eight years, Jerry and Alma enjoyed their many travels together. Jerry always made family a priority and was very proud to be called son, big brother, father and loyal friend. Please join us in celebration of his life 6-10 p.m. Friday, March 25, at PT's Gold, 5630 S. Hualapai Way (at Russell Road), (702) 243-0237.

Just found out about Jerry's passing. What a loss. My memories of Jerry always had to do with just the right balance of friendship and mischief. Easy going a lot of the time and intense if he needed to be. My condolences to the whole family.

I hope and pray that the memory of his humor and a joke he might say now would sustain you in the deepest moments of your memories.

No one could deliver a line (with a straight face) like Jerry. I can honestly say, high school wouldn't have been the same without him. Jerry was one of a kind.

My deepest sympathies to Jerry's family and friends.

Jerry was always full of life in High School, I can only imagine that wonderful personality continued throughout his much too short life. I can tell by the pictures I have seen of him lately that he was full of happiness and joy. The world is less bright with out his smile in it.
My deepest sympathies and prayers for his family and friends at this sad time.
