Joe possessed a wealth of knowledge concerning the history of Alamo and its pioneer families. I enjoyed talking with him and hearing his stories. My Grandmother, Jo Stewart, was his grade school teacher in the one room Alamo schoolhouse.

Sorry to hear of your loss, I remember Joe and the times on the cattle roundups with him, he was a fun person to be around and a hard worker.
