To the Woodson Family:
I would like to extend my deepest condolences to you. Mr. Woodson was my Junior High Band Teacher at Tolleston Senior/Junior High School in Gary, Indiana. Mr. Woodson was very gifted and had a knack of inspiring music students to excel to their greatest potential and then beyond that, He encouraged his music students to own their own instruments. I remember the day that he came to my home with a brand new trumpet and convinced my parents to purchase it. I still have that trumpet today and even one of my sons learned to play that trumpet.
Mr. Woodson has made a major impact on the world and his legacy lives today through you and his students.
