Mrs. Reisman was my creative writing teacher in 1977 at Clark High School in Las Vegas. She was one of the kindest, most positive, and enthusiastic teachers I have ever had. Mrs. Reisman encouraged all of her students to express themselves on paper and, under her care, we all bloomed as writers.
She will always hold a very special place in my heart because she instilled in me a love of writing that exists to this day! Thank you, Mrs. Reisman, for making a difference in the lives of your students. You will never be forgotten!

This woman helped me realize my love for writing, made me feel talented enough to share my writing. I had no idea she passed, I was hoping to reconnect with her. She was a loving supporter of young learners and I miss her spirit. My love to her family.

Dear Josh and Ira:
Just found your Karen's obit on the net. My sincere condolences to both of you and your families.
I thought the world of Karen and am deeply sorry she is gone, although I could say that at least she's not suffering any more. Karen was a wonderful person.
Sorry I missed the funeral, but no one notified me.

Josh,
So sorry to hear about your Mom. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. I lost my Dad exactly 4 years ago to the day you lost your Mom.

Karen and her family were my next door neighbors years ago when they first came to Las Vegas and our boys played together - my thoughts and prayers are with you, Josh. Your mother was a beautiful person and I have lovely memories of you both.

She was my favorite teacher in High School. Mrs. Reisman changed my life and helped me to discover my hidden talents and abilities. I will never forget her. I was one of her first students in Las Vegas at Clark High School right after she moved from New York. She taught American Literature and Creative Writing. I am now 51 years old and still writing today just like she encouraged me to do. My heart goes out to her family at this time of great loss.

Karen was a person who had many gifts. If you were fortunate enough to know her you could never forget her glowing smile that came from within. Her devotion to her family, and friends, was like none I’ve ever experienced. She was a unique lady. Her friendship was a blessing and a joy to all who knew her. My deepest condolences.

Sorry to hear this. She was my English teacher at Clark back in the mid 80's. Yes, I still remember her mostly because she was one of those teachers who would go above and beyond and sit down and work with you and explain things. My deepest condolences....
