Marty Batelle Obituary

Marty Marie Batelle, age 63, passed away Monday, May 22, 2006. Marty was a resident of Las Vegas since 1963. She graduated from Santa Maria High School in 1961. Marty has been in the construction business for over 40 years. She has been in the Addison Organization since the early 1990's. She brought with her many years of invaluable construction experience. She was respected and admired by her coworkers for her knowledge and helpful attitude. Marty will be greatly missed personally and professionally by everyone who knew and appreciated her special attributes. Marty was a devoted part of Addison, Inc. and had a sincere affection for every one at Addison. Marty was a devoted Christian. Marty is survived by her children, Jeff, Jason and Justin Batelle, Wendy Whitman and Lisa Battaglioa. She is also survived by her mother, Jerry Henson; sister, Armenta; nephews, Jody Reinoehl, Jimmy Ciccerilli, and John Batelle; her beloved grandchildren, Josh, Jeremy, John, Carli, Christina, Liam, Jacob, Nico, Italia, Hailey, Jake and Addi; and great-granddaughter, Olivia. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Batelle; and her father, Leon Henson. Marty was a generous and very compassionate woman. She was a loving mother and wife. She was very much loved by her family and friends. Marty will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Not many of us can say we were lucky enough to have known someone like Marty. We have lost a saint but gained an angel. We will miss you "Grandma Honey." Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 27, at Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119. Contributions can be made to the Cancer Society.
