Michael Paniagua Obituary

MICHAEL PANIAGUA Michael Paul Paniagua, 48, of Las Vegas, passed away Nov. 30, 2011. He was born Jan. 14, 1963, in Oakland, Calif., and was a 25-year resident of Nevada. Mike was from a family of 11, he was a quiet, mild-mannered young boy and continued that throughout his life. He loved to talk and was quite the jokester. Mike married the love of his life June 12, 1999. They had four wonderful children, Michael, Joshua, Justin and Jasmine. Each of these kids have a part of Mike's silly, humorous and optimistic personality. Mike loved all holidays, especially Christmas. We have lost a wonderful husband, dad, brother, uncle and friend. He is at peace now and his spirit will be with us forever. We will miss you dearly. Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Alma Gregory; father, Paul Paniagua; and sister, Malinda May. Mike is survived by his wife, Traci Paniagua; sons, Michael J. Joshua and Justin Paniagua; daughter, Jasmine Paniagua; siblings, Debbie, Eugene, Chuck, Kathy, Bobby, Vivian, Barry, Garry and Tommy; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, with services following, both at Affordable Cremation and Burial, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

It doesn't matter how much time as passed since Mike left this world - he is missed very much. God must have needed him in heaven to take him so young, as he had so much left here for him....his wonderful wife Traci and his four children, grandchildren. Gone - but you'll never be forgotten Mike. So very many are gone now from our fellowship, so I know you are not lonely in heaven. Rest in Peace.

I cannot believe it's been 10 years since the world lost Mike. I still think of you often and it seems like yesterday we were cheering on the Nascar racers, especially Rusty Wallace until his 2005 retirement, your favorite. Still hoping your resting in peace and I know you are watching over your FOUR children on earth. You'll never be forgotten...that's for sure. RIP

Dear Paniagua Family:
I couldn't believe it when I heard Michael had passed. I worked with him at BBC. What I remember most is the love and pride he had in being Mikey's father and the love in his eyes when he spoke of Traci.

Peace be with you Michael.

Mike and I worked together at Bonanza. Although I haven't seen you all for years, I remember your wedding & then how happy he was when he became a dad. I'm truly sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with your family.

I am so saddened to hear of Mike passing. Mike and I go way back from the Bonanza Beverage days. We had alot of great times! I ran into Mike when he opened a furniture store and he was still the same Mike. He seemed very successful and happy. I'm so sorry Traci for your loss, You and your kids lost a great man. He will be missed.
If theres anything I can do please dont hesitate to get a hold of me.

I was shocked to read the very sad news of Mike's passing. Although I haven't seen him in years, I had the privilege of being his friend years ago. I last saw him when he stopped by to see me just before he and Traci married to tell me how happy he was and how much he loved his wife to be! It was great to see him so happy and so excited about the future. The world has lost a kind and gentle soul. My thoughts and prayers are with his family during this difficult time and hope they find comfort in one another. You now have an Angel watching over you from Heaven.

Mike has been a shining light in many, many peoples lives. He touched many hearts and helped many people struggling around him. Personally, Mike was my race buddy for several years. He loved Nascar racing and we attended many races together in NV and Calif. He was very fun to be around as his sense of humor was wonderful. His dream back then was to find a wife and start a new family. He accomplished that when he found the love of his life, Traci, and married in 1999. I am SO SADDENED to see him leave his wonderful wife and 3 beautiful children at this point. God must have really needed him to take him now. I am confident he will be looking out for them forever from heaven. Rest in Peace Mike, knowing how much we will all miss you!!!
