I was so sorry to hear you were so sick and tried to contact you several times. Just wanted to support you the way you did when Jim died. I will miss you and your sweet serenity. You were always so kind and comforting to be with.

As for all the years you worked with us at poker tournaments, those are happy memories even though we sometimes went through hell dealing with cranky players! Somehow you always managed a smile and never lost your graciousness!

I miss you and wish I could have said goodbye and told you what I have just written.

I will think of you often with love in my heart as you are a part of my life.

Patti I just heard the news. I wish so much I could have seen you and said thank you for the great friend you were to me. We had so many amazing times together. You were my second mother in my poker days. You were an amazing woman, strong, compassionate and so caring. I will miss you and think of you often. I wish I knew about the service. I would have been there for sure. I love you Patti. I will see you again.

Aunt Pat, when I first called you although you were surprised, (because you didn't know your sister had given her first daughter up for adoption) but welcoming.

Like everyone who knew you, you welcomed and embraced my family and myself, and for the first time in my life I knew what it was to be cherished. The closeness we shared can never be replicated and although our time was short, it was special. There are not enough words in this world to explain what a special gift we had with each other.

We all loved you, miss you, and will never forget you.

Your loving niece Sydney, husband Steve. Great nephews Brian and Ben, Brian's wife Karri, and your 6 great-great nieces and nephews including Katrina.

Patti, It feels like it was yesterday Sherry, you and I were sitting in your garden talking, laughing. I wish I would have said thank you for giving me such a wonderful gift. The most precious gift anyone could give someone a Best Friend. Sherry is my Best Friend and the sister I never had.

You and Sherry were there for me through the worst times of my life after the loss of my sons David & Daniel. It didn't matter what time it was Sherry and you help listen to me cry, yell or even scream. Thank you for making me a part of your family.

I know you are in heaven looking down at us right now. I know you are missed more than you could ever imagine.

P.S. Please give my boys a big hug and kiss for me!
Love,

Brenda Miramontes
