PAUL ANDREWS Obituary

PAUL ANDREWS Paul Ciesielski Andrews, our beloved and only son, and our best friend, died in a plane crash May 29, 2012, in the mountains near Zion Park, Utah. Paul attended St. Mary's in Stockton, Calif., and graduated from junior college at NMMI (New Mexico Military Institute), where he was the regimental commander of cadets. He undertook programs of helicopter training in private aviation centers in Canada and the U.S. Since 2010, Paul became the lead pilot at Maverick Helicopters in Las Vegas, and a full-time student of management in the College of Business, University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Paul will always remain in our hearts as a wonderful, loving human being with a great sense of humor, a respected professional with deep knowledge and high personal integrity, a passionate mountaineer and rock-climber and a dearest friend. It was a priceless gift having Paul with us for over 30 years, from his loving parents, Kristina and Andrew; girlfriend, Sarah; parents and family in England and Poland; and friends in the U.S. and across the world. After a private cremation, the memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, July 7, at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89123.

Paul was one of our youngest sons helicopter instructors in Olympia Wa. Our son was only 15 when he got the helicopter bug and had several different instructors but Paul was the only one I ever fully trusted. He just seemed to be so trustworthy and honest and down to earth. I flew with him several times and was never afraid even tho I was a bit afraid of flying. Still think of him often and wish we could see where he would be today. Love to his family.

Paul was a wonderful man. He had an infectious smile, and positive attitude. I always saw him smiling, and you could see the smile in his eyes too. Paul was one of those people that was always a true joy to be around, and someone to look up to! The world was blessed during the time Paul was on Earth to spread his joy to all those who had the pleasure to meet him. Now he looks down on us with the same smile =) He will be missed, but held close in our hearts forever!
