PETER KRANJCEVICH Obituary

PETER KRANJCEVICH Peter David Kranjcevich passed away unexpectedly April 19, 2012, at his home in Burbank, Calif. He was deeply loved and will be missed by his parents, David and Carole (Bingham) Kranjcevich; his brothers, John M. and Daniel Kranjcevich; his sister-in-law, Angel; his nephew, Chase; and his girlfriend and love, Heather Henry-Parker. Born and raised in Las Vegas, Pete attended UNLV and finished his education earning a degree in art from the Art Institute of Seattle. From there, he used his artistic talent working for such prestigious companies as 20th Century Fox, Stan Lee, and finally the Walt Disney Company, where he was a respected technical director for DisneyToon Studios and Television Animation. Not only an artist, Pete was an adventure athlete, summiting Mount Rainer and finishing Ironman Regensburg 2011. He loved anything to do with the outdoors, especially if it included spending time with his friends and family. Visitation was held Friday, April 27, at Forest Lawn (Hollywood Hills), 6300 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles. Wake to follow. Additional memorial to be held in Las Vegas at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 5, at Palm Mortuary, 6701 N. Jones, Las Vegas. Please remember Peter by a donation in his name to LA Children's Hospital, Challenged Athletes Foundation, or Wounded Warrior Project.

Betty and I were shocked to hear about your son's death. Having just lost our youngest daughter Nancy whom you knew gives us an understanding of how sad and hurt you must feel. We are so sorry to have heard of this tragedy. God bless you and keep you!

Pete was an extraordinary light who always brought out the best in anyone he knew. He was a great friend. I miss you bro. My prayers are with the Kranjcevichs who were a surrogate family to me. God bless you guys in this difficult time.

Pete was consistantly pleasant whenever I saw him. I've never met a kinder person. I'm grateful that I witnessed someone in this world who had that quality and had such an ease with it. God bless you, Pete. God bless your family as they go through this difficult time. My prayers are with them
